What's the difference between a flatwork ironer and an ironing press?
A flatwork ironer (also called a rotary or cylinder ironer) feeds large flat items — sheets, pillowcases, tablecloths — through heated rollers for fast, consistent results. An ironing press uses two heated plates to press individual garments (shirts, uniforms, trousers) far faster than a conventional iron. Many operations use both: a flatwork ironer for linen, a press for clothing.
Can I finance commercial ironing equipment?
Yes — most equipment can be financed through hire purchase, finance lease, or operating lease. On a 36-month agreement a £2,000 system works out at roughly £70–90 per month. Finance payments are generally 100% tax deductible as a business expense. See our finance & leasing page for full details.
Do you supply equipment to the NHS and public sector?
Yes — we supply NHS trusts, care groups, local authorities, schools, fire and rescue services, and other public sector organisations across the UK. We can provide full product specifications, model numbers, and pricing documentation to support procurement requirements. Finance and leasing are also available for public sector buyers.
What brands do you supply?
We supply Electrolux Professional, Comel, Speedypress, Magpie, Schulthess, Aeolus and others — professional-grade brands built for all-day commercial use. We stock spare parts for everything we sell and can arrange UK-wide servicing.
