Frequency Asked Questions (FAQs)
Answers to questions about this product...
Yes, it is designed as a fixed-height professional finishing station for regular garment-care work in commercial settings. It is well suited to hotels, care homes, dry cleaners, laundrettes and on-premise laundries processing uniforms, shirts and guest garments. Its integrated boiler allows sites to generate steam at the table rather than relying on a central steam installation.
The standard FIT2B specification requires a 400V, 50Hz, three-phase plus neutral supply and has a 5.6kW electrical load. A 240V single-phase version is also available. Buyers should confirm the exact variant required and have the site electrical supply assessed before ordering, particularly where the table will be installed in an existing laundry or finishing room.
The vacuum function draws garments onto the ironing surface, helping keep them stable while pressing. It also helps remove moisture from the fabric after steaming, which can assist with setting a crisp, consistent finish. This is particularly useful for repeat work such as shirts, uniforms and presentation garments, where reducing movement and reworking supports a more controlled finishing process.
The supplied electric steam iron, swinging arm and standard sleeve arm make the workstation suitable for a range of detailed garment-finishing tasks. The sleeve arm is useful for sleeves, cuffs, trouser legs and other narrow sections, while the main table supports larger garment panels. The sleeve arm is included but is not heated, so buyers should consider this when assessing specialist finishing requirements.
As this is an electrically heated table with an integrated steam boiler, operators should follow the supplied installation and instruction manuals for daily operation, cleaning and upkeep. Establishing a routine based on the manufacturer guidance helps maintain reliable steam and vacuum performance. Before purchase, ensure the business can accommodate the 100kg unit and its 1600mm wide by 470mm deep footprint.
