Blowing creates an air cushion beneath the item, reducing direct pressure on delicate, dark, velvet or textured fabrics. The two functions are foot-pedal activated, leaving both hands free for garment positioning.
The 400W heated board helps keep the ironing surface dry by reducing condensation caused by repeated use of steam. This is particularly useful when finishing several garments in succession, as a drier board can support more consistent results and help prevent moisture being transferred back into the fabric during ironing.
Allow enough clear floor space to work safely around the 120 x 45cm board and to use the iron support, which measures 43.5 x 28cm. When folded, the board measures 50 x 150 x 19cm. Its double support tube and wheel assist movement, but at 18.5kg it is best treated as a semi-permanent workstation rather than a lightweight household board.
