Is this suitable for a busy ironing service, hotel or holiday-let laundry?

This rotary ironer is suited to regular, high-volume ironing where bedding, table linen, uniforms or family laundry would be slow to finish with a hand iron. Its 91.5cm roller and powered feed make it a practical choice for ironing services, small hotels, guest houses and holiday lets, rather than occasional light ironing.

Which linen and fabric types can be processed on the roller?

The 91.5cm-wide roller is particularly useful for sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, tablecloths and other flat linen. Five temperature programmes cover nylon, silk, wool, cotton and linen, while adjustable roller pressure helps operators match the finish to lighter fabrics or thicker cotton items. Garments can also be handled with forward and reverse roller control.

What electrical and water arrangements should be checked before ordering?

The machine requires a 220–240V, 50–60Hz electrical supply and has a 2200W power rating. Steam is produced by its integrated generator, supplied from a 2-litre water tank, so an external steam boiler is not required. Buyers should confirm that their intended location has suitable power provision, safe working clearance and a practical routine for filling the tank.

How quickly can staff start ironing, and what controls are available?

The ironer heats up in approximately two minutes, helping staff begin work without a lengthy warm-up period. Its touchscreen panel provides five preset fabric programmes, and steam can be selected as continuous, burst or dry ironing. The roller runs at 1.65m per minute and can rotate forwards or backwards, giving operators more control when positioning awkward items.

When would a larger commercial flatwork ironer be a better choice?

A larger commercial flatwork ironer may be more appropriate where a laundry processes consistently high volumes of wide flat linen and needs greater throughput. This model is intended as a balance between commercial performance, compact size and value. It is well suited to regular bedding and hospitality-linen workloads without moving to a substantially larger machine.
