Scorch & Burn Protection
Creates a buffer between the hot soleplate and the fabric, preventing direct heat transfer that can scorch or burn delicate materials. Essential when working with synthetics, silk or fine wool at higher temperature settings.
Eliminates Shine on Dark Fabrics
The Teflon surface prevents the friction and heat combination that causes shine on dark trousers, skirts and jackets. Particularly useful on wool blends and tightly woven fabrics where soleplate marks are most visible.
Highest Quality Teflon on Aluminium
The Teflon coating is bonded to a rigid aluminium chassis — not a flexible sleeve. This keeps the shoe flat against the soleplate throughout use, maintaining an even glide and preventing bunching or folding under pressure.
