Frequency Asked Questions (FAQs)
Answers to questions about this product...
Yes, it is designed for heavy-duty commercial ironing rooms processing regular volumes of garments and linen. The 5-litre Speedypress boiler provides longer running periods between fills than smaller domestic units, while the commercial-grade heated vacuum table is built for shift-after-shift use. It is a practical fit for ironing services, hotels, care homes and businesses bringing laundry finishing in-house.
The heated surface helps dry residual moisture as you finish the fabric, reducing the chance of a damp board during extended sessions. Vacuum suction holds garments securely against the table, limiting movement while ironing and helping create a crisp, consistent finish. This is particularly useful for larger or heavier items such as bedding, tablecloths and structured garments.
The package includes the 5-litre boiler and professional iron, a Speedypress Deluxe heated vacuum table, two 6ft garment rails and a garment cover dispenser. It also provides 1,000 wire hangers, poly cover rolls, trouser guards, foam hanger guards, skirt clips, plastic ironing bags and 420 personalised customer labels, helping a new operation prepare, protect, label and dispatch finished orders.
Routine care should focus on keeping the boiler and iron clean and managing water quality to reduce scale build-up in the steam system. As local water hardness varies across the UK, discuss suitable water treatment and descaling guidance with the supplier before use. Following the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions can help protect steam performance and support reliable commercial operation.
A larger boiler or an additional workstation may be more appropriate when demand means staff need to iron continuously, several operators work at once, or turnaround times are especially tight. This package is based around one 5-litre boiler and one heated vacuum table. TIECO can tailor a commercial laundry package with increased boiler capacity or two stations to suit the operation.
