Frequency Asked Questions (FAQs)
Answers to questions about this product...
Yes, it is recommended for Speedypress ironing equipment, boilers, steamers, irons and ironing presses when used with the compatible water filter housing. It is a practical consumable for ironing services, dry cleaners and other workplaces that want to reduce dirt, sediment, chlorine and unpleasant odours in their incoming water.
The cartridge is designed for the Speedypress Water Filter Housing Kit, also referenced as SpeedyFilterHousing. The housing kit is not included, so buyers should confirm they already have the compatible filter housing or order it separately. The cartridge has a 10-inch length and 2.5-inch internal diameter for this specified housing arrangement.
A 5-micron filtration level is intended to capture fine dirt and sediment particles while helping reduce chlorine content, bad tastes and odours. This makes the cartridge useful for water supplied to compatible steam-generating ironing equipment and for domestic drinking-water applications. It should not be treated as a solution for contaminants not stated in the product specification.
The recommended replacement interval is every six months, or twice yearly. Regular changes help maintain the intended filtration performance rather than allowing accumulated sediment to remain in the cartridge. For commercial users, planning replacement cartridges as part of routine equipment maintenance can help keep water treatment consistent for compatible boilers, steamers and presses.
This cartridge has a maximum flow rate of 30 litres per minute, a maximum differential pressure of 8 bar and a temperature rating of 30°C. These limits should be checked against the water supply and intended installation before ordering. It is made from cotton and polypropylene, with specifications intended for the compatible Speedypress filter housing.
