The Sterling Pro SP0840BC is a robust and energy-efficient 8-grid blast chiller, proudly made in Europe and constructed entirely from stainless steel. Designed with hygiene, durability, and performance in mind, this unit is ideal for demanding commercial kitchen environments.
With a chilling capacity of 40kg and freezing capacity of 24kg, the SP0840BC ensures rapid temperature reduction while maintaining food safety standards. It features curved internal joints for easy cleaning, a hinged door with automatic return, and 60mm of eco-friendly CFC-free polyurethane insulation.

The unit is specified to chill food from 90°C to 3°C in 90 minutes, or freeze from 90°C to -18°C in 240 minutes. Rapid temperature reduction helps kitchens move prepared food into refrigerated or frozen storage promptly, supporting controlled cook-chill and cook-freeze processes.
Installation requires a 230V supply with a standard 13amp plug, avoiding the need for a three-phase electrical connection. Allow space for the stated unit dimensions of W790 x D800 x H1290mm, plus suitable access around the cabinet for loading, cleaning and ventilation. Its packed dimensions are W895 x D910 x H1505mm, which are useful for checking delivery access.
The cabinet is designed for GN 1/1 gastronorm shelves or pans and provides eight grid positions with a 65mm gap between shelf runners.
