The Speedypress Commercial C90 is a heavy-duty dry ironing press designed for businesses that need to finish large volumes of flat linen, garments and household laundry quickly, consistently and with less physical effort.
Its extra-wide 92.5 × 32.5cm pressing surface is approximately 25 times larger than a conventional hand iron and can press up to four layers of suitable flat linen at once. With 60kg of pressing pressure, fingertip operation and seated use, the C90 is a practical productivity upgrade for guesthouses, hotels, restaurants, care homes, laundries, dry cleaners and professional ironing services.
The 92.5 × 32.5cm plate covers a much larger area than a conventional iron, reducing the number of movements required to finish sheets, tablecloths, napkins and garments.
Suitable flat linen can be folded and pressed in multiple layers, allowing operators to complete repetitive hospitality and care-sector laundry more efficiently.
Strong, uniform pressure is applied across the full plate, helping produce a smooth, consistent finish without relying on operator strength.
Position the item, lower the pressing plate and allow the machine to apply consistent heat and pressure. The straightforward process is quick to learn and easy to repeat.
The C90 can be operated while seated, helping reduce back strain, repetitive wrist movement and fatigue during longer ironing sessions.
With no integrated steam boiler to descale or refill, the C90 offers a simple, dependable setup. A spray bottle is supplied for lightly damping fabrics when required.
A standard iron relies on repeated hand movements, manual pressure and a relatively small soleplate. As workloads increase, this quickly becomes a bottleneck.
The C90 applies heat and pressure across a broad area in one movement. For businesses processing sheets, napkins, table linen, uniforms and mixed laundry every day, this can reduce handling time and make output more consistent between operators.
It is especially useful where a full rotary ironer would be unnecessary, but a domestic iron or small steam press no longer provides enough capacity.
Cover more fabric with every press and reduce the number of individual ironing movements required to complete each item.
Uniform pressure across the plate helps standardise the finish and reduces variation between different members of staff.
Less wrist movement and no need to apply downward pressure manually makes repetitive ironing more comfortable.
Faster handling and the ability to process suitable folded linen in layers can reduce the time spent on repetitive finishing tasks.
The 220–240V power requirement makes the C90 easier to install than larger three-phase commercial finishing equipment.
The press folds down when not in use, making it suitable for businesses where working and storage space are limited.
