Frequency Asked Questions (FAQs)

This press is best suited to commercial laundries, dry cleaners, ironing services and garment-care departments that regularly finish shirts and similar items with collars and cuffs. It is designed for specialist component finishing rather than general flatwork. Pairing it with a PS03 press can create an efficient workflow for higher-volume shirt processing while maintaining a consistent professional finish.
Installation requires an external steam source, a 7 Bar compressed-air supply and an appropriate 240V or 400V, 50Hz electrical supply. The press operates at up to 5 Bar steam pressure and consumes approximately 12–13 kg of steam per hour. Buyers should confirm that their boiler, air system and electrical installation can support these requirements before ordering.
The upper steam-heated, vaporising surface helps apply controlled heat and moisture during pressing, while the lower vaporising and aspiration surface draws moisture away. This vacuum action helps hold the garment section in position and set the finish more effectively. In practice, it supports crisp collars and cuffs with less residual moisture, helping reduce handling and rework between stages.
Allow sufficient clear floor space for the machine dimensions of 170 cm high, 125 cm wide and 120 cm deep, plus room for safe operator access and utility connections. At 260 kg, the press is substantial commercial equipment, so the delivery route, doorway widths, floor suitability and final positioning should be assessed in advance to avoid installation delays.
The standard configuration has an inclined upper pressing plane with automatic pneumatic closure and a safety frame. These features are intended to support controlled pressing in a professional environment where operator safety is important. A manual-closing version is also available, allowing buyers to select the closure arrangement that best suits their preferred workflow and site setup.
